
Ratno Kuncoro was the second best graduate of the Indonesian Police Academy in 1994. Ratno Kuncoro has undertaken many short training courses at home and abroad and has visited more than 25 different countries in the world. He is experienced in the field of intelligence, investigation and education.
He served as Team Leader Human Rights Investigators in the UN Mission in Bosnia Herzegovina (UNMIBH) from 1998 to 1999. He spent much time on assignment as an intelligence analyst, and is active as a speaker both at home and abroad. He graduated from the FBI National Academy session 230 in 2007.
During his training at the FBI National Academy, he took courses: Leadership for Law Enforcement; Conflict Resolution for Law Enforcement Managers; Introduction to Counterterrorism; Computer Crimes for Police Supervisors; and Contemporary Issues in Police and Media Relations.
