
Inspector General of Police Dr. Krishna Murti is a high-ranking officer of the Indonesian National Police who graduated from the Indonesian Police Academy in 1991. He has spent much of his career in investigations and overseas assignments. He has handled many high-profile cases. He once served on a UNTAES mission in Eastern Slavonia and a UN mission in Sudan (UNAMID). He is the only Indonesian National Police Officer who has served strategically in the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations (UN DPKO) based at the UN Headquarters in New York. His international experience and skills are the reason he currently holds the position of Head of the International Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police. His office organizes the National Central Bureau (NCB)Interpol activities to combat international/transnational crime; carries out international missions for humanitarian peacekeeping and the development of human resource capabilities; and assists in the legal protection of Indonesian citizens abroad.
